Tips for Ordering Concrete

  • Volume
    • Orders for concrete should be called in with a volume in cubic yards
    • Please use the concrete calculator link on this page to help you determine the volume needed for your pour.  The calculator can be used to determine the volume of almost any shape or size form.
  • Strength
    • Our standard mix designs start at a compressive strength of 3,000 psi and range up to 5,000 psi.  Be sure to check your plans to see if a minimum strength is called out for your project.
  • Slump
    • Our mixes are designed to be placed at a 3 inch slump for the optimal W/C ratio.
  • Admixtures
    • Admixtures such as retarders, accelerators and water reducers may be used to optimize results.  Check our Admixtures page to see what we offer.
  • Spacing
    • Be prepared to provide us with an estimate of the amount of time you need between mixer trucks arriving on the job site if you are ordering more than one truckload.
    • Please keep in mind that we do charge for standby time if a mixer is onsite pouring or standing by to pour for more than an hour.
  • Lead Time
    • Please be aware that during our busiest times of the year in the summer and fall we can be booked out up to two weeks in advance.
    • If you will need concrete during this time, please call in your order with as much advance notice as possible.  This will help us to schedule your pour at a time that works for you.
  • Delivery Address
    • Please make sure you have the full address prior to calling in your order.  We will need the street name and house or lot number before we can schedule your order.

Please call concrete dispatch at (530) 582-3600 to place your order
